Description: Solitary, feather-leafed, spiny palm. Trunk to 16 inches thick and leaves a deep green. Overall height to 45 feet with a spread of 15 to 20 feet.
Requirements: Grows well in acidic to somewhat alkaline soils. Growth rate medium to fast. Some varieties can tolerate short cold snaps to mid 20s. No salt tolerance.
