Description: Solitary, spiny, feather-leafed palm. Trunk to 6 inches thick and leaves somewhat plumose and wedge shaped. Overall height to 30 feet with a 8 to 12 foot spread.
Requirements: Grows well in acidic to somewhat alkaline soils. Growth rate medium. Tolerates short cold snaps to freezing. Has slight salt tolerance.
