Description:
Solitary, feather-leafed palm. Trunk to 2 feet thick and covered in black fiber. Leaves deep green above, silver underneath. Height to 50 ft. with a 30 ft. spread.
Requirements:
Grows well in acidic to somewhat alkaline wet soils. Growth rate medium to fast. Tolerates short cold snaps to high 20s. Some salt tolerance.
