Clumping, feather-leafed crownshaft palm. Trunks to 2 inches thick, crownshafts often reddish-purple, leaves can be entire or split. Height to 15 ft. by 10 ft. spread.
Requirements:
From serpentine soil, so seems to grows best in acidic to neutral soils. Growth rate slow. Tolerates cold snaps to the mid 30s. Salt tolerance unknown.
