Solitary, fan-leafed palm. Trunk to 12 inches and covered with old leaf bases. Leaves circular and deep green. Overall height to 40 feet with a 12-15 foot spread.
Requirements:
Grows well in alkaline to somewhat acidic soils. Growth rate slow to medium. Tolerates brief cold snaps down to freezing. Some salt tolerance.
