Description:
Solitary, feather-leafed palm. Trunk to 10 inches thick. Glossy green leaves are a brilliant red when newly emerged. Grows ultimately to 20 ft. with an 12-15 ft. spread.
Requirements:
Grows best in acidic to neutral moist soils. Growth rate slow to medium. Can tolerate brief cold snaps to mid 30s. Has no salt tolerance.
