Description:
Clumping, feather-leafed palm. Trunks to 2 inches thick. Undivided bifed leaves are a medium green and maroon colored when emerging. Height to 8 ft with 6 ft spread.
Requirements:
Grows best in acidic to neutral moist soils. Growth rate slow to medium. Can tolerate brief cold snaps to mid 30s. Has no salt tolerance.
